Weekend away

This past weekend, Nancy and I went to Noel's surprise 40th birthday party with a Halloween theme. I went as an ATM, and Nancy went as a witch. The boys stayed with Grammy and Chief, as we made it a night out in Hyannis and were joined by Tom (riding an ostrich), Liz (go-go dancer), Jason and Michelle (prisoners).
We headed down early and stopped at a the Derby Shops and some shops in Plymouth. Nancy was coaxed into buying a new pair of "heeled" shoes. Hopefully, the days of "nun" shoes will soon be a thing of the past.
At the party, all sorts of folks were there, and the drinks were flowing. Nancy started off with old reliable, the Long Island Ice Tea, but soon moved to a new drink for her: Raspberry Stoli, Sprite, and a splash of Cranberry.
After we left the party, around 6:30, we walked down to Stinky's for some grub. The food was great, as was the company. We then drove to the Roo Bar to watch the game (Red Sox, game 6), and some dirty dancing by Liz with a couple of middle eastern dudes.
Breakfast the next morning, and then back to pick up the boys. All in all, a GREAT weekend. we need to do this some more!
